I'm a New England transplant, and I DESPERATELY want a snow storm....does it ever amount to anything more than a dusting that is gone with hours??

Yes, it does snow, this winter just seems a bit strange. I'm sure the snow will come later. I miss the snow too. I'm in the Cincinnati area and we usually get from 2 inches to 2 feet. Probibly not what you are used to but snow none the less.

Yes.. it snows all through ohio. If you are up on the lake effect snow belts north and east of Cleveland you will get more then you do in New england. Southern And Middle Ohio are more like Southern New England, it can very bad or they can not get much at all. Most winters you will get snow no matter where you are in the state though.

YES, it snows the first snow is beautiful, everything is covered in white. Then it snows again & again & on & on. Snow plows, salt, mud, ect.. what a mess. Then you start wishing for spring to arrive. The biggest snowstorm blizzard I remember was around 1977 or 1978. Went to work in the am, sent us home early. I never made it home, I had to park my car in a parking lot & walk home. We had 3-4 ft drifts on side streets. We have had other big snow storms since then, so sit back & wait, your wish will come true. A good warning sign is just when the weather man thinks its a good forcast, POW! we get hit with a big one.. I love the big snowstorms also! Edal

I live in NE Ohio, and we have had almost NO snow this year, or last for that matter. My sister lives 40 mins from me, and they always have TONS of snow.
It didnt used to be this way, it seemed years ago we always had lots of snow. I think this year has been a very light winter.

LOL, of course it snows. The big question is where are you located. Northeastern Ohio gets mounds of snow due to the lake effect. Its snowing there now actually. Im in Cincinnait and it hasnt snowed here yet.

OH YES... there can be a lot of snow... where i live we have a huge snow storm right now, and you can barely see outside theres so much snow... i've even had a couple of snow days for school

I had some acquaintances that lived interior the interior the Brookpark area and the individuals care approximately their community. From what I even have seen the area is amazingly nicely saved.
