I was wondering if there was a way for me to be able to save the text I type into the fields of this document so I can change it at a later date if need be or a program that will remove this security feature

http://contacts.gsa.gov/webforms.nsf/0/21DBF5BF7E860FC185256E13005C6AA6/$file/sf330.pdf

go to page 9 of that link. That is where I need to type data in to and possibly change it later. Across the top of that link it tells me that "You cannot save data typed into this form". Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used to have that problem sometimes for no reason. It just sometimes would say "I'm not going to let you save what you typed into this form" which is incredibly annoying -- especially with a form as big as the one you're filling out. I stopped using Adobe Acrobat Reader for that reason and because it was so slow to load up the first time.

I use Foxit Reader, and it is much faster and less buggy. It works in both Mozilla FireFox and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Try right clicking on the link to the file and choose 'Save Target As' Once it's on your hard drive you may be able to save text.

Most likely the form you are trying to edit is secured. I get a lot of government forms and without Acrobat Pro you can't get around the security.
