I hae taken a career break of two years to have kids and previously worked as an engineer for 5 years. I have an excellent degree, and don't seem to have an issuegetting an interview. I do however, don't seem to do well in the technical part, and feel really stupid. I think I do well in all other areas. The problem is once I leave the tech interview, I think of another 100 logical and obvious items I miss out.... I don't know why I blank when I see a formal test. I know subject and I feel I would be very competent in my work. I was always really good at exams and tests in my school days. anybody know things that could help? hypnosis?

Practice interviewing with people you know. Practice alone. Plan to say certain phrases, so that if you are stuck in an interview you can remember to say something as it relates to the field.
