Girls stop growing by 18 or 19.
Periods have nothing to do with growth. It is mainly from genetics.

Girls stop growing when puberty ends. Girls who enter puberty early tend to end up shorter. Same goes for boys.

After a girl starts menstruating, she can only hope to grow one more inch. Obviously, the taller a girl is when she starts menstuating, the taller she'll be as an adult.
