I just think that the last couple of shows, or maybe even since the beginning, that people know that they sing waful, yet they go and humiliate thenselves. I wouldn't do it for any amount of money, but they must be paying them well. There was one guy i can't remember his name but he's the one that in the middle of his son just said he needed water and left the room. He's from Indiana and the next day he was interviewed by Eddie and Jobo from B96 and he gave me the impression that they paid him. He said something along the lines of "...that's what the public wants to see, it's all for entertainment". Did anyone else hear this? Any opinions regardless?

YES! My boyfriend thinks everything on TV is fixed, but unfortuately I have to agree with him this time. Isnt it funny that Kelly Clarkson had the most intricate audition, where she role played with the judges, and how comes they film a short snippet of people's lives.....IF...they are just nobodies coming to audition.

I love watching AI, but i am thinking that there are producers in the room that are telling the judges to let the horrible singers continue singing just to have something for viewers to laugh at. Or maybe its just Simon...hes always the one to tell them when to stop. I dont think they have a whole lot to do with who wins overall tho, and i think its because it really doesnt matter who is the top winner. Usually the losers do better than he winner does.

I don't know. Sometimes it looks pretty suspicious, other times it seems like the judges are surprised by who gets voted off near the end of the season. I wouldn't doubt it. But then how do you explain why some years the winners flop and don't become successful, and others do?

I wouldn't be surprised if some people were paid, or actors. But also some people will do ANYTHING for a chance to be on TV or be 'famous.'

It might be set up but that is CRUEL.
If people like watching them treat others like trash, they are sick.
I am very disappointed at the show and if it gets any worse, I will stop watching.
