Oh I know!!! At the radio station, we usually have a basketball or baseball game on Friday evenings to broadcast live, and that makes things extra busy. In fact, I end up staying latest on Fridays because of all that it takes to get one of those darned things on air! First they try to call in on the Comrex (a device used to communicate over phone lines that is much clearer than a regular phone, similar to VOIP but older,) doesn't always work. Then they have to try and attach a wireless phone to a mic box and broadcast live via the Telos (a switchboard system common in radio that patches the phone line into the mixing board.) That in itself makes the day drag on!!!!

its not just that way in the afternoon. friday itself seems to last so long. Some finish most of my work and work so hard during that they think its okay to take a break on friday.

You are not productive on a Friday afternoon because you spend too much time daydreaming about how much drink and sex you're going to have over the weekend (I did say dreaming.....) and too much time on Yahoo! Answers asking stupid questions.

Now get back to work you lazy dog.

Because we,ve had enough bloody stress for the week and preparing in our minds to chill out for two days. Just like sunday nights when we go to bed and can,t sleep, thinking about another work week ahead. Roll on pension time.

They seem so long because you want the weekend sooo badly that time seems to go by slowly. Why aren't we as productive? Same thing....because we know we got 2 days coming up that we don't have to work so sub-consciencly I think we are "preparing" ourselves.

For those who don't work weekends, as soon as Friday begins you are wishing your working day would end. That makes it seem longer.
