Not anywhere I've ever seen but forward details. If I don't work at all can I get paid for eight hours?

Not sure about all states but in MO if you work 4 hours and then for some unforeseen reason the rest of the work day is canceled you are supposed to get paid for 8 hours of work. But wouldn't it be great to get paid for 4 hours of work every 2....

If you work overtime, the company should pay 1.5 times of hourly wages. So you should get equivalent of 3 hours wages. However, there is a limit to whom the overtime is applicable.

As far as i understand, if you come in to work they have to pay you for 3 hours unless you agree to leave without that pay.
so be careful of the words you use when your boss says :i"t's pretty dead, you can go home"....
