Would that be two rounds of Warburtons, a big barmcake, a baguette or what exactly? If you narrow it down I'll know how many to get for your lunch....now there's an invite you can't turn down... ;)

Depends on the size of the bread, but if we are talking about the standard loaf size, then for a thin layer of one flea deep, 483,744.
If you are looking for a much more noticable filling (fleas are quite small, but cat fleas are around the largest you can get before ethey become 'ticks') then I will say 1,000,000. Nice round number there.
If you want fleas so that you can see them claerly as a filling, as well as taste them, then I estimate 3,500,000. So to answer your question, for a decent sandwich, three and a half million.

about 40 i think, you need to cut the sandwich in half once its done, so thats 20 for each side, and make sure to put some jam in for added flavour

I would think around a million since they are so very very tiny. Mmmm, cat fleas and mustard. :)

I would say about a billion. You would want to be able to taste everyone. Enjoy your sandwich...Yuck!, not for me.
