I think AJ is a great wrestler and should be champion in TNA. But with that said, AJ would never get over in the WWE because he has no mic skills, no charisma, and no character to draw any interest from WWE fans, and this means that he won't be able to draw big money therefore he'll most likely be a mid-carder that will job to more charismatic and bigger wrestlers because thats what makes money in the WWE . AJ eventually may end up in the WWE towards the end of his career because he'll no place else to wrestle and make descent money. Eventually TNA will go out of buisness, I think TNA has already gotten as big as they'll ever get and eventually the people promting TNA will realize it isn't good enough and pull the plug. TNA is a great promotion if your a wrestling fan, but in the world of mass entertainment and buisness good old fashion "Wrestling" alone will never make big money or draw major ratings. 4 or 5 more years and my guess is you'll probably see AJ, Somoa Joe, Abyss, Sabin, and others in the WWE mid-carding. Kurt Angle will of course be back kissing Mcmahons butt and doing MAJOR jobs for leaving the company the way he did .

Well Aj. does really well for himself. He is a multiple time TNA world champ (which right now has more credibility than any of the wwe world titles) and since tna arent exclusive talents, he gets to wrestle a hundred different talents in about a half dozen independent companies.

No, actually tna is probably not going anywhere. They havent been hugely popular but they've already been around for over 5 years. And if they stick to just "wrestling" alone, they will be a solid 2nd place company, and thats the best they can hope for either way. As bad and boring and untalented as the wwe roster is, tna's wrestling talent is looking more and more appealing. half of my friends that are wrestling fans have transitioned over to tna and dont even fool with wwe anymore.

And if they can get some funding, they are looking more and more appealing to wrestlers that are amazing but dont get a fair chance. Everyone is looking at christian cage and want the same chance.

RVD & Sabu have mentioned wanting out of their contracts.
Shannon Moore is unhappy with his contract.
Benoit himself has said that he wished he hadnt signed a 5 year contract because he would rather be in tna.

Not to mention tna is trying to get Lita and Jericho.

And it's not like wwe isnt trying to buy the talent and being turned down.
AJ, Daniels, Rhino, Dudleys and Joe have all turned down wwe contracts, not to mention Angle and Christian that bailed out to tna.

If tna could just get a little more independent funding (even 1/4th what turner gave wcw) they would be established solidly.

I dont see them being a serious contender at least for a while, but i dont see them going anywhere.
And as long as Vince keeps mistreating wrestlers and putting on horrible shows TNA will have a chance.
If wwe and tna both started this year with the same budget, tna would have bought out wwe in 18 months.

I don't think TNA is going to go under. I am one who was forced to start watching WWE, because my beloved WCW was bought out by them. Once TNA went primetime, I started watching it every Thursday night, and I love it. I have a few other friends who have said they prefer TNA, because they think Vince McMahon is a j*g-off. For me, the last straw was the Rosie vs. Donald fiasco. The Thursday before was the TNA where Joe and Angle fought out in the hall, with the fans right there. Stagged or not, that was really cool. Last night's episode was great, too. ECW and Smackdown were in my area last week, and I didn't want to see them. If TNA were to come here, I'd jump right on it. Once RVD and a couple of other wrestlers get to TNA, you'll see a lot more interest in TNA. RVD is a great wrestler, who is being held back by an ECW that has NOTHING to do with it's former self. I'd be mad if I were him, too.

I think if TNA doesn't start touring, they are doomed. There are a lot of folks at TNA that I would love to watch but I don't have the attachment like I do for WWE because I have never seen it live.

Yeah the writers on WWE have been sleeping on the job but they always go through a slump. They will turn it around.

You know, I see your point about "traditional wrestling" being out of place in today's era of sports entertainment. Rather or not TNA is as big as it will get, well only time will tell. With fan support an continuous bad story lines by WWE, TNA could very well become the next WCW. It will take a lot of support from traditional fans such as myself who have gotten a little tired of the more talk less action approach by WWE. Only time will tell.

TNA is as big as it gets? it is growing fast, and its newest fans are all former WWE fans. A few months from now RVD will move to TNA, and I'm expecting Rey and Jericho to also join, TNA will not pull the plug, they are allready being offered their 2nd hour, they have so much more talent then the wwe and their 20 jobers and 2 main eventers (thats all the wwe is anymore) I mean if you want to see wrestling, buy an ROH dvd, or turn on TNA, if you want to see poor story lines that can't even relate to wrestling fans, I guess you can turn on WWE, they have so much potential but they rely too much on story lines, I love the WWE, I love them, they have so much potential, but it doesn't seem like they're trying anymore.

I don't think they will ever be as big as WWE, unless of course WWE buys them out.
