Izzy was visited at the beginning of the season by Denny's dad, and after talking to him about what happened w/Denny he gave her a check for 8.7 Million dollars that Denny left for her.
George is mad at Chritina because she knew about Burke's tremor and was going to let him operate on his dad w/out saying anything.

Izzy got rich because, her boyfriend Denny died and left her the money. You will have to watch re runs, its complicated! And George is mad at Christina because she was trying to cover up the fact that she and Burk were doing surgeries while Burks's hand had tremors. But after last nights episode it looks like George and Christina have made up.

Izzy's fiance died. A man with heart problems she was caring for in the hospital. Georg is mad at everyone, His dad is dying. George is being rude to Christina because she wants to know about Burk and wont ask him herself, she keeps asking everyone else so George is just sticking up for what Burk has asked..Not to tell CHristina anything.

When Denny died, he instructed his Father to give a check for 8.7 million dollars to Izzy. George is furious at Cristina because she has been helping Dr. Burke to hide his hand tremor by making sure she's scheduled for every operation he does. Burke was supposed to operate on George's dad, and he's angry that Cristina was willing to let Burke do this knowing his hand was comprimised.

George has not forgiven christina for witholding the truth about Preston's hand when Preston was the one who was scheduled to operate on his father. Preston was lying to save his career. Christina was lying to protect Preston. He thought she was his friend. He thought he could trust her. She proved Preston comes first over all others. Actually, I think he forgave her, but; he promised Preston that he wouldn't tell her what Preston told him about Preston's condition. But, that was what he told the guys. he hasn't forgiven her. Supposedly.
