Not only is it OK...it is recommended. Just don't jump in to a cold shower if you haven't cooled down from you workout.

I've never heard of such a thing before. If you're talking about spider or vericose veins then I don't think you have anything to worry about- water immersion (either hot or cold) won't cause them. The big veins that you see sticking out of some peoples arms, legs and the backs of their hands are visible because the person is very lean and some people try very hard for that look. If you are lifting weights you are lowering your chances of getting spider or vericose veins and showering has no effect either way.

It's actually required in Western culture to shower after you exercise. The sweat will dry and you will have a sour musky smell within an hour or two, which no one likes except for a few strange people.

unless you want to get thrown out of the gym for stinking and smelling like a greasy pig...get some good smeling body wash and a wash cloth and go to town...if you're there to improve your look, you have to improve the smell, too.
