Back in days of yore, Friday was a big deal because a majority of the workforce had Saturday and Sunday off. Unfortunately, in the modern world, most people, outside of professionals and office workers, no longer have this luxury. It's a 24/7 world now. It's real convenient to the 9-5'ers, but has taken away stable work hours/days off for the average working Joe or Jane. It's sad but I don't see it ever changing back.

Then I guess Fridays are no different for you!!! Sorry!!! I love Fridays because I get to sleep in a little later on Sat. morning, and I don't necessary have anything I HAVE to do.

IT's only considered great by those who don't have to work, who can just relax until Monday when it's time to go back to work. You can sleep in on Saturday and Sunday and spend the time with your family and friends, and Friday is the start of all that.

Yuck! I would hate to work on Saturdays. I guess for the majority of people Friday is good because it is the end of the week, however I am always tired on Friday because of the long week and usually am in a bad mood!

It is usually the end of people's work week, but I work on Saturdays and Sundays. But, I look at it like this at least I have a job. :)

well for people in school we think Fridays are great because we get Saturday and Sundays off from school.!
