I find this really odd. Christie Hemme came out in WWE's Diva Search shaking her a$$ and showing off her t!ts as much as she possibly could. She danced around being a big sex symbol with the WWE. Now she has the nerve to come out in the middle of the ring and cry about not being treated the way she deserves. All of the women in wrestling have huge chests and hot little bodies and parade around with barely any clothes on showing off as much skin as possible. Their are even instances where they have flashed. Am I supposed to treat them with respect after that? She should stop her whining and actually have a good WRESTLING match or something and MAYBE I will respect her, but after this "b!tching and moaning"-- not likely.

j.soto416 just proved my point. She is only there to look at, and that is all. She knew that getting into the business so she should stop crying about it.

Like all the other former WWE stars she is made to say and act as if she had such a bad time in WWE.

I disagree, kind of.
It is a work. Pure and simple. TNA's creative team told her what to say. Doesn't matter whether she agreed with it or not. She likes her job (or the paycheck), so she does what they say, PERIOD, or she finds herself another job.
As for respect, I have stopped caring and respecting the WWE's women division a long time ago and fast forward through most Diva segments, including the Diva search.
Along with the hiring of Jacqueline to the roster and the attack on Gail Kim, I believe TNA is getting ready to come out with there on women's division, especially if they take Spike TV up on the offer of a two hour a week show.
Now for the part where I kinda agree. My real big complaint is that the ONLY reason WWE wrestling got popular was the women showing as much skin as possible. They do it today.
They are there as EYE candy and not wrestlers. While the women agree to flash people and show as much skin as possible, it is/was the creative team at the time that wrote the skit that's responsible.
Treat them how you want, that's the ideal of faces and heels. That's what wrestlers love. That's what this business is all about. Just remember, in the end, it was a WORK, a stunt that's pulled every week, in every wrestling promotion. She and the VKM probably went out and had a beer after it was over.

No. I have to side with Christy on this one.
I have a soft spot for christy because she won a diva search on looks. But genuinely tried to learn how to wrestle. She is one of 2 or 3 girls in wwe wrestling history that had no wrestling talent and tried to wrestle. She trained hard and wanted to be a wrestler.
A lot of this is Vince's fault, they have to parade half naked or be out of a job. If she didnt do the playboy shoot she wouldve probably be fired (dont forget that after jackie gayda refused playboy that vince pulled her off tv immediately and fired her a month later)
And even the talented women wrestlers are degraded on tv. Even the queen of wrestling Trish Stratus started off onscreen as Vince's sex slave, talking about his old man balls and being forced to bark like a dog and beg and all kinds of stuff for no other reason than Vince's bizarre misogynistic ego
I'm excited to see tna bring in a womens division and see what these girls can do in the ring that were released because wwe didnt find them as hot as a torrie or (gag) candice.

And this is why I turn the channel when the divas (Mickie James excluded. ) come out. All they do is run around with more skin showing than clothes and then demand respect? Well, I don't want to call them stupid or anything, but...
You got the job by showing your *** off and acting ditsy. Do you honestly, for even a minute, think someone is going to take you seriously?
She wants to be taken seriously then she should shut the hell up, put some damn clothes on and get in the ring and actually learn how to wrestle.

If you don't want to be treated like a sex symbol/piece of meat, then keep your *** out of Playboy.
Why will someone bend over backwards and do naked cartwheels to get famous and then cry about how hard it is? How no one respects them, and how they're treated the way they are.
Is anyone over the age of 13 dumb enough to believe that you can be a celebrity and still have a private life?
Waaaaaaaah!
