when rosie make that commet about it being "sad" and that stuff about them making fun of everyone... I think this season their all mean but expecially to those last two guys the big and small guy.

People are saying that this year is the same as every year but that is false. I have watched every season but this year takes the cake for humiliation and meaness. Paula is usually more caring but this year she is just laughing with Randy, and Simon doesn' laugh which is good but he is very prejudice towards certain peoples looks, etc. There was some people that could sing a little and they just dogged them out too. Even the ones that put through to Hollywood they were mean to an extent. I was looking to see more people get put through to Hollywood and the judges being more exited, even about the ones they did put through. This so far has been the worst out of all the seasons and I think the comment about that guy who looked like a monkey was way off base, and Paula was just laughing the whole time but trying to hold it in and told Simon that was wrong, but, hey she was laughing. I know that they really risk the humiliation of coming on the show but most people are tone deff and really think that they can sing and it is sad.

How can anyone with any level of intelligence agree with Rosie O'Donnell? She can't get through a day without saying something nasty about someone. She is obnoxious, loud and rude. Has been for several years now. Does she think that being a lesbian gives her the right to say any nasty little thing that she wants and get away with it? Rosie used to be funny and a bit interesting, Now she is just an over the hill bitter woman. I can't believe that Barbara Walters has let what used to be a great show slide into the muck and mire that it is in now. Thank the Lord that I work days.

For once I agree with Rosie.
I was telling my mom just Wednesday Night that they were mean and cruel this year.
If it gets any worse I won't be watching it.
You know, people may not can sing but do they have to be so mean about the way they look or dress.
Common on!!!!!
Show what little education they have.
To get technical. Simon is freaking ugly and his girl is just with him for his money. He has never sang or had an album that he sang in.
Paula is a loser too. She hasn't sang since 1820's or something like that. When is the last time she had a boyfriend?
Randy, has he ever sang? If so then why don't you see him or his music. He is the leader of the DOG pound.
I know it's not right to judge them and then turn around and talk about them.
But I am just saying to look at yourself before slamming others.
Idol sucks this year!!!!!!!!

I don't agree with Rosie because she herself has made fun of others such as that horrible Asian accent she did a few months ago. And she makes fun of Donald Trump so isn't she in essence doing the same thing? Also, Simon has been rude since the show began and people know that going into the auditions

Yeah I thought that they were a little harsh and they have been more open this season about people of marginal intelligence and weird looks.
In the past, they would say it once the people were out of the room, but this year they seem to be focusing on the looks and abilities of certain people.
On the flip side though, these people ARE trying out to be singers for a televised program and they know what it's all about, so why they are shocked is kind of beyond me...

Rosie needs to lay off with her comments, however, I agree with the remarks about American Idol. Simon has gotten out of hand and cuts right to the quick. I don't want to watch it anymore. Paula seems to be living on her own planet!

YES, it is disgusting that this popular show had to do this to try for even more point.
obviously these were not true better contestants that had eliminated others because of their higher talent. there were tricked and chosen purely for their potential to amuse a cruel adience when the three millionaires mock them publicly. they should sue the show.
the show is getting sick and shoul be taught a lesson. they should be boycotted but people will not do that as there are too many freaks that love to see this mockery. so the contestants that were mocked should sue. losing money is the only things these TV people understand.
PS: Paula Abdul needs to go to rehab

Telling the one kid he looked like a monkey was wrong.....and then to say he's great and then laugh behind his back, was wrong too. I think Rosie (as usual) went overboard with it. Someone - maybe a parent or guardian or teacher - should discourage kids from auditioning if they can't sing and try to steer them in another direction. No one likes to be made a fool of.

Yeah, well, I loved that fat big guy, he was soo nice. I actually saw Paula Abdul cry when she had to say no to him. He was probably the nicest person to ever be on American Idol. And well, Rosie needs to shut her mouth on occasions. Simon needs to lay off, and Randy needs to stop laughing at everyone who is bad.

Rosie needs to go play in traffic. I seem to remember her making fun of a few people's appearances in her day, most recently the Donald. She needs to shut up and go away.
