I would take another test to make sure, but it sounds like you could be pregnant..... I remember having that same result for my first!
But theres also that factor of when did the faint line come in? Was it right after you took the test? Or did it show up like 5 minutes after...... because then its just the urine is settled and everything that can be soaked in will show.
Try taking another test or go see your doctor for one!
Good luck!

With both of my pregnancies, I knew I was pregnant long before the tests were able to give a clear indication as such. I'd have such a faint 2nd line I began having doubts. Was I just seeing the line in the plastic, or was it REALLY a faint line from the coloring agent? Fast forward 6 more home tests and four days and FINALLY, the absolute 100% definitive 2nd line APPEARED! Hay, carumba! Don't put yourself through the waste of time, money and energy when you can go to your doctor, get your blood drawn and know EXACTLY whether you are or not.
Now why didn't I think of that??? =) Oh yeah, that's right, I was too impatient and didn't want to wait 24 hours to find out. Instead I waited 84. Classic!
Good luck to you, I hope everything turns out the way you'd like for it to.

If you have a very faint line it means that the HCG levels in your blood are not strong enough to create a dark reaction(however you are most likely pregnant). However even the instructions should tell you the line may be very faint. If you have any doubt you can wait a week and repeat the test using first morning urine (when the hormone is the strongest) or go to the doctor for a blood type pregnancy test for confirmation.

Generally, if a line shows up, whether it is faint or strong, it means that you are pregnant. However, if the test sat for more than the allotted time, a line just might possibly show up to indicated a false positive, but this is extremely rare. Buy a different brand, take another test. If you really want to know for SURE, then go to your local planned parenthood and pay $25 for a test. Good luck!

The positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn't. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn't mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the "results" window, you're preg!

Even the faintest of lines are considered positives as long as u noticed it within the time limit about 3 minutes, anything after 10 minutes disregard due to evaporation lines(false positives)..I would say right now accept that its positive and then take the test again in 3 days using the first morning urine...Below is a picture of a faint positive, this woman got a very dark postive a few days later...Good Luck and Congrats!!

Congrats even a faint line means your pregnant. If the line showed up after 10 min then I would suggest taking another test because that could be a evarporation line. Good luck hope it all turns out the way you want.

YEP! If a line appears, no matter how faint....it's a positive. It's nearly impossible to get a false positive test. Chances are since it's still early, the line is faint due to the hormone level. If you took it tomorrow MORNING with the first urine, it should be plenty visiable to you and more reassuring. Your HGC hormone doubles every 48 hours and first morning urine has the most in it, so with waiting a day and taking it in the morning will help! Good Luck!!

A faint line is still a positive as long as you read the test within the time stated,so if it came up within the time the test states its positive but if it came up after 5-10 minutes it could be an evaporation line. Depending on the accuracy of the result the pink discharge could be implantation bleeding or your period about to start. The pain isnt normal though,i would try to see an emergency doctor.

I had the same results with both of my pregnancies - the second line was VERY faint, but it was definitely there, and I was most certainly pregnant! Sounds like you are, too! Take another test just to verify. Good luck! :)
