I know there's a commune here in Colorado. I think it's in Niwot, I know for sure it's near boulder but I think it's Niwot. I had a friend who grew up on the commune. and with Boulder right there I'm sure you can find something- I don't know if everyone knows about Boulder but here in CO we all know that they're the eco- friendly, vegetarian, tree hugger types.
