Yes, why let them live and suffer and loose their dignity and the quality of life. Doctor should mercifully end the suffering of the patient who is terminally ill and only experiences his pain each and everyday that gets worst.
Sometimes we treat our pets with more kindness and ending the suffering while at the same time we prolonged the suffering of a terminally ill person thro artificial means.
( apology for those whos not in favor )

Yes, I do, I do not believe in torture until death. And yet I don't. The question is who is going to decide what terminal ill is. Is going to die in one year terminally ill? Also, it is a doctor's creed to heal patients no matter what. There is always breakthroughs in medicine and practices. Touchy subject.

I would have to say yes. But my answer totally depends on how debilitating the disease has become. If the person is in terrible pain and confide to a bed and are unable to do anything why would you want to see someone you love in that state, especially if they are getting worse and worse and not better. I would want to see them peacefully go and no longer suffer. My only dilema is the fact that the Bible says thou shall not kill. And that is killing if you assist in the suicide. But if it were me in that situation I would want to go and be at peace.

No one should have the right to die! God gave us a life and we should take care of it. Even though they are ill, they should try to overcome this obstacle.

I like to think that I would never do it but who knows for sure.
For now I look forward to seeing another day & plan to live that way.
70 years & counting.
