If I had five objects to place in a time capsule which would be opened in 100 yrs they would be as follows: 1.) A newspaper that would inform the world what happened in this time period such as the Civil War in the Middle East, the nuclear tests being performed in N. Korea and the nuclear ideals of Iran. The Global warming that has effected Mother Earth and the weather it has caused and the earthquakes and volcano eruptions we have had. Politics that have occured in this era and the Presidency and Congress.The 9/11 and what it had done to our country. The execution of Saddam Hussein and how we captured him and his followers.The lives that have been lost in our military who fought in Iraq and other foreign countries.The changes that our Government has made between church and state and the mistakes that had been made in our capitol and White House.
2.) On a Happier note: Pictures after the 9/11 and how everyone worked together as one and brought our country back from a devastation.Movie clippings from different documentaries remembering the 9/11. Block buster movies such as Pearl Harbor, The Queen, The Titanic, Lord of the Rings,etc..clippings on our famous Princess Diana. The deaths of some of our great movie stars and writers and nobel prize winners etc...3.) A magazine with the styles of clothes that were warn in this time frame and hairstyles.4.) On a scientific note: The accomplishments that our Reachers had done throughout the yrs finding cures on the different diseases that effected our nation and other countries.What Nasa had accomplished by sending robots to other planets and their discoveries.And last but not least future predictions from our pshyics and scientists on what could happen in the furture if we the children of our Mother Earth don't change on how we live and conserve our energy and stop killing wildlife uneccessarily and the hatred between human life. I believe that all these items I have mentioned are important for future reference in the yrs to come whether in 10 yrs 50 yrs or even 100 yrs.Who knows if our beloved earth will still be here in 100 yrs. I certainly hope so for our childrens sake and their children.But if we people of this earth don't change our ways such as wars, conflicts, terrorist acts and killing of our wildlife and these nuclear testings, Earth may not be around for another 100 yrs and if it is by chance what type of beings will inhabit the earth.

I think that could be a good way for someone 100 years from now to be able to have some insight into life in 2007.
