I have no problem at all speaking with liberals and I'm a moderate.
As far as Bush's lingual misfortunes, that's the least of my concerns about this person.

I have to agree with you that it's hard sometimes to carry on a conversation with a liberal and I believe that it can be attributed to the fact that they were disenfranchised when Congress went Republican 12 years ago then President Bush defeated Gore in 2000 and then did the same thing to Kerry in 2004. The American public had enough of liberal politics and they saw their influence sliding down the chute so they make up for it with bluster and rudeness.
Yes, the libs love to cast aspersions on President Bush's speech patterns, but they forget that he's not the first President who had a different accent or used words differently than the East/West Coast liberals use them. Look at Jimmy Carter and the way he spoke.
The problem is that it's gotten to the point where no one can carry on a conversation with a lib because they will shout you down and talk over you. How many times have you been watching a cable news program and seen an issue discussed by a liberal and a conservative, and seen the liberal present his/her point, then talk over the conservative when that person is trying to present their opinions? I see it happen a lot and I think it's because most of them (not all, but most) are insecure and feel that they were marginalized by the defeats and are fading into obscurity. Many of them firmly believe that their opinions are in the majority and that they have to shout to be heard because no other opinion matters.
OH Yeah. and that business of making statements on video and later denying them; let me just remind you about a few others who did that, like our former President on WMDs and extra-marital affairs.

As an ex-republican (and now a Liberal), I think that everybody has a right to their opinion, and you need to do research to determine facts. One should not be certain about anything. In general I think that if one really wants to know the truth one will find it. In the Bible it says "Seek and you shall find"
Remember that what is percieved as "hard fact" today may tomorrow be disproved. For instance asbestos was considered totally safe, in the 1950's, then negative reports started coming out but the government did nothing up until 1978 when it was banned, Now we know it is a very hazardous substance. My uncle died as a result of it.
They knew that cigarettes were dangerous and caused many diseases for 50 years, but only recently have they clamped down on them.
The list of things that were "facts" but were wrong goes on and on.
Lastly since you mentioned Hitler, if you really do research on the Neoconservatives ideology (and especially the Chicago school) you will see that they have direct influences from the Nazi fascist movements of the 1930's. Therefore it is likely that they would be running together instead of as opponents. Rather than Bush-Cheney it would be Bush-Hitler.

enable him cool off for a lengthy time period, yet once you adult men see one yet another back, make confident you tell him that he became thoroughly out of line for being so indignant at you. Asking about plans for Christmas and New Years isn't out of line. Why hasn't he been operating? no matter if that is obviously because he has fallen on a non everlasting frustrating time, then forget concerning the following: He desires to get off his butt and locate a job. i do not care if he works at McDonalds or Wal Mart. that is not honest to him or to you if he's not protecting up his end of the relationship financially. I confident desire you're not any further helping him, till that is non everlasting, like I stated above. So, go away him on my own for now. He desires to relax off. then you definately have 2 selections: elevate how he acted immaturely or forget concerning the actual reality the communique ever got here about. If it comes up back, make confident you tell him that you want him and in basic terms puzzled what he might want to wish to do. do not factor out funds. He is conscious of what he can and can't arise with the money for. If he's in basic terms lazy, bypass have a Merry Christmas elsewhere without the party pooper.

If you think the whole world is crazy, it's time to check yourself in! In other words if every time you get into a discussion it elevates to an argument.. it's probably you elevating it.. Now not liking someone because of how they speak is no better than the republicans I've hear say they like him because just because he's the president.. there's no assertion about the policies he stands for there.. and even if a democrat came up to me with the line you claim to have heard, I would challenge them.. maybe you should start trying to debate with a little bit older crowd? actually that probably won't help.. not that long ago I had a republican tell me he didn't vote for the democratic guy because "he looked sinister".. and this was a well educated mid 20's young man.. maybe one day they will all grow up.. who knows.

Well,I am no liberal but I can play one on Yahoo. The best answer I can give to you, which by the way is the one I offer my liberal friends when they ask the same of conservatives; is this.
If you are constantly finding yourself in debates, arguments to use your words, with people who can't intelligently debate maybe it is about you and not them. That is to say maybe you are unconsciously seeking out people who can't debate on your level. Remember debate requires listening and analyzing someone's position and you may feel so strong in yours that you don't want to hear anyone's.
late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, a much greater, speaker, debater, and intellectual than Bush or Hitler; once answered a Senator during debate: "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts."
I will end with a lesser man--myself: "Facts are funny things. You may want to keep careful not to believe to strongly in your own or someone else's" --Larry D Fowler 1998 Debate JCSC

Neither Conservatives nor Liberals could possibly disagree that Bush is perhaps the most inarticulate president in our history. However, I don't know what Liberals you're speaking with, but the vast majority dislike Bush for reasons far more consequential than his inability to deliver an eloquent speech.
One of the things that Conservatives try to ignore is the miracle of video and audio. Bush seems to forget that when he makes a statement in front of the camera and one year later contradicts himself or denies ever saying what he said, his words are archived forever. I can site numerous examples of Bush either blatantly lying, flip-flopping or just not remembering what he said a year ago. How can you trust someone who constantly contradicts himself on critically-important issues?
Regardless of which issue you wish to discuss, I welcome intelligent debate from any Conservative . To quote your leader, "bring 'em on".

Because they have to use what they can. If there were any dirt, so to speak, to dig up on Bush, it would have been piled as high as the crap the media has dug out on both of the Clintons, Kerry, and many more liberal candidates.
But we aren't supposed to mention any of that.
For example: I think it's a big deal that a presidental wannabe was raised Muslim and chose to hide the fact, or 'glaze over' the fact. But is that a top story at google? Is it at Yahoo? Is it at CNN?

Jason, Jason, Jason.........come on!!
You have reached the lowest of the low.
I don't like the president for many, many reasons, but his lack of speaking ability is NOT one of them.
I rather like the way he speaks.
Besides Trinity Broadcasting Network, Bush's speeches are our family's favorite comedies!
It takes TWO to create an argument.
Also, the definition of "insanity" is 'doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results'.
I hope that hit home.

Looks like you just started here and this is the only question you've posted so far - so I'm not sure what you're complaining about.
Liberals are very good with facts though. Facts about how the US was duped into starting the war in Iraq, facts about global warming, facts about evolution, facts about stem cell research etc.
Bring up a serious topic and you'll get facts. You will get disagreements and arguments though, so if you don't like that then you should probably go to some other forum...

you've answered your own question. they will not listen to hard facts.
i've had people tell me facts are wrong before. a fact is a fact is a fact, how can it be wrong? your opinion on that fact may be different, but you can't say it's not a fact just because you don't like it.
i think President Bush is a poor speaker myself. that doesn't matter to me as much as other things, though. i suspect at the end of the day, his being a poor speaker is the only thing that they can prove against him.
