The blood test is the most accurate, it tests for HCG levels(pregnancy hormone) in your blood. I don't know if there is a name for it, I'm sure there is. If you go to a clinic just tell them you need a pregnancy blood test, they'll know what you mean.

It is called a Beta HCG test. it can be qualitative (just tells you if it is positive or not) ot quantitative (and tells you that actual HCG level if peresent). This is an accurate test if perfrmed at the proper time. An HPT is very accurate as well if done at the correct time usually around 14 days past ovulation.

i know that there are two kinds of blood preg tests.. one is qauntitative and one is qualitative, not sure which is which but one tells u just if there is hcg in ur blood, which is just like a urine test..the other tells the exact level of hcg

beta HCG test.
this harmone releases into blood after pregnancy starts.
it can be clearly distinguished after 5 weeks of pregnancy.

beta hcg and it can tell usually 3 days after conception
