First, if you want input from heterosexual guys why are you posting the question on the lesbian/gay/bi/tran forum? Second, there is no single answer to that question. We are all individuals, and we all look for different things in our relationships. I would suppose honesty, sincerity, and openness to be the most important. There can be no true friendship, let alone love or a lasting committed relationship, without trust and communication.
