I'm still waiting for a bill that will accomplish anything. They did a lot of talking for six pieces of legislation that will have little impact, even if passed. These bills are still the same government as usual bills designed to make the people feel their legislators are doing something other than paying back their political donors.
If they want to change something give the President line item veto and stop tacking pork onto bills where they have no legitimate reason for being there.
Neolibs have been accusing the "neo-cons" of plotting to bring about a new world order, but it is their socialist ideology and deference to the UN that makes that fantasy closer to being reality.

I hope they don't get too excited...
These Bills can still be vetoed, and in both chambers of Congress, Democrats lack the votes necessary to override a presidential veto.

Bush is a jerk. Any time he doesn't get his way he'll use his veto pen. Veto stem cell funding??? God forbid we do anything that might help mankind. But stem cell research doesn't fir in with Bush's religious views. That's just one of the reasons he sucks! He doesn't understand the meaning of separation of church and state.

Again, neoliberalism is an economic policy advocated mainly by conservatives. As far as current politics is concerned, I haven't really kept up.
