I'm glad to hear that Nancy Pelosi is doing a good enough job that people are starting to grumble. At least she gets things DONE. Unlike Dick Cheney, wo is the President of the SEnate and does NOTHING!

Frankly there is little that can be done now that she has been installed. She's not a criminal, has an outstanding legislative record, and is anti-corruption like nobody else. You'll just have to grin and bear it until two years go by and the majority can swing again to the Republican side, requiring an election of a new Speaker of the House. But for that to happen George Dubya would have to pull a couple dozen rabbits out of a top hat, raise dead from their graves, Capture Osama, pacify Iraq, solve the Palestinian/Israeli Gordian knot, disarm Kim Jong Il, and depose Ahmedinejad.

The speaker would have to do something illegal, resign, or be voted out by the house of representatives.

Any official could be.. there would have to be a damn good reason because the speaker is number 3 in line for the presidency.
