Goldfish can't live in small tanks. There is a common misconception that goldfish can live in bowls and be fine; this isn't true. Goldfish are big fish - even the small, fancy type goldfish can grow to 7-8" long, and they are very heavy, and they produce a lot of waste. They are practically poop machines and they churn out copious amounts of toxic ammonia. In a small tank, they will rapidly foul up the water and die of ammonia poisoning.
If you want to keep goldfish, and keep them happy and healthy (note that a healthy goldfish can live well into its teens and beyond), then know that a fancy goldfish needs 15 gallons of water. So if you want 2, you'll need a 30 gallon tank. If you want other types of goldfish like commons, comets, or koi, you will need a pond, because those need 50-100 gallons each.
The tank will need proper filtration, some gravel, some silk plants, and you can feed them a basic goldfish flake/pellet and some veggies. You will of course need to do your weekly 30% water changes as you would with any fishtank.
Also, you cannot keep topical fish with goldfish. Tropical fish are, well, tropical - they need warm water (78F) to be healthy. Goldfish, on the other hand, are considered to be coldwater fish, and they are healthy at a temperature of around 68-72F.

As Zoe said, Goldfish cannot be kept in small tanks and are not tropical fish. A properly cared for goldfish can live 15-20 years. I agree with Zoe on tank sizes, 30+ for two fancies and 125+ for two commons, comets, etc. It is a myth that goldfish only grow to the size of their tank. In small tanks their growth is stunted, meaning their internal organs continue to grow while their outer shell does not. It's unfortunate that many pet stores fail to tell people this.

Buy another tank for the goldfish, they don't need the same sort of environment as the tropical fish and they are much easier to care for.

Gold fish should only be kept with other gold fish, the only exception is like a apple snail, so remove the gold fish from the tank and put them in at least a 20 gallon tank depending on how many u have, if u have fancy gold fish base 20 and add 10 gallons for each extra fish, if common gold fish 20 gallons per fish

You don't mix goldfish with tropicals! Goldfist are cold water fish, tropicals neat a heater. Goldfisg are also very dirty fish. You're only supposed to have one goldfish per ten gallons of water. If you want goldfish, get a separate tank

goldfish and tropicals dont make good tank mates. if you want to keep tropicals you can't keep goldfish with them. if you want goldfish they can have minnows like rosys and white clouds and snails and shrimp for tank mates.
learn what really goes together. the pet store will sell you anything!
