Morality i think is that set of instructions that our soul suggests us to do when doing anything. We always know what is right and wrong. And when we follow the right ,its morality.

The question is not so much about what I think of morality as much as how do I understand morality. Morality is not a subjective decision, but rather something inherent to us as humans. We do not decide to be moral, rather we must act morally in accordance to our nature. As humans we are guided by two realities in our actions; the things we can do and the things we cannot do. I would love to fly around like superman but jumping off a cliff would not be the wisest thing for my well-being. I am limited in my abilities through nature. At the same time nature has endowed me with other capabilities, such as reason, which allows me to understand my actions. Morality naturally follows this inherent ability of ours. Of course it is important to understand a hierarchy of values which naturally pertain to us, and perhaps we could discuss this later, but for the moment we can see how morality calls to me rather than I to it. I do not choose morality, instead morality calls out to me. The funny thing about being human though is that we can understand how to act morally, yet also chose to act against that.

It is better to have a set of moral values than not. However, moral values don't go far enough in that, while they show a positive way of living, they can't always provide the means or power to do so.

Well, except for being nice to other people and having a sense of charity and forgiveness, morality is pretty much a relative thing.

What's "immoral" for some ultra-conservative Christian is not a problem for others, and that doesn't mean that others have an inferior sense of morals.

I think the only absolute when it comes to morality is that it is subjective in nature.

morality is your own set of personal life guiding rules that enable you to face each day, and more importantly, go to sleep at night with no regrets. The basis for these rules is taught to us throughout our life and we decide how to interpret and put them into practise.
