my boyfriend keeps telling me he loves me and wants to be with me but its hard for me to be with him becuase for one thing he is always in some type of trouble and his father,omg his father says that im not good for him because out of all the girlfriends that he had,his dad says im the wrost because i dont take up with his **** but anyways my boyfriend stays in and out of jail so much to the point were his daddy thinks that its my fault because every time he gets into it with somebody,i always try to help him out when he is in trouble and by the daddy not liking me anyway my man keeps shifting away from me because his daddy wants me out of the picture.what do i do about this,i mean what do i do to make the daddy stop hating me for whatever he hates me for?

by the way,im not trying to stay with him he keeps staying that he is going to do better but i dont believe him because everytime i turn around he is back in jail and i do have respect for myself but everytime im about to leave him he says he loves me. does that count for something?

Do you think a jail bird is a good catch? Parents who blame you for their sons problems?
You are a caring individual and thats admirable. You are probably a very nice person. Stop wasting your life on this. Go find that good man that doesn`t go to jail and will love you always. Whose parents are tickled to death that you found their son.

The answer is simple here. You are being used. If someone kept coming to my rescue every time I said I Love you, I would do it all the time. Come on, who cares about the dad? You are better than this stuff, and the sooner you realise you are being used the better off you will be. I am not trying to be harsh, but this man is bad news and if he really loved you, he wouldn't want to be in jail all the time. Take Care Heather

this is a tough one.... it is an easy answer but it is tough in the fact that you really care about him.... so any answer is going to upset you....?
you really should not ever accept his calls again... or see him... move on.... because you DO respect yourself... but he obviously does not have respect for you... or himself... and history repeats itself.... a man (or woman) is only as good as their word.... he has broken his many times from the sound of it... and though it counts for something the first (maybe even second) time a person tells you they are going to do better? change their ways... if they are saying that tired line more than once (or twice... everyone deserves a second chance?) than that person is just going to keep breaking their word... by doing that? he IS disrespecting you.... disrespect is not what love is... it does not help that he does not seem to be defending you to his father?! letting his father know that you are to be respected... I have to say, hard as it is... it is time to let that one go... and when ready? find one worthy of you!

if he did love you wouldn't he want to be with you and not in jail? I think it is time to get on with your life, maybe in some time this "boyfriend " will grow up. Start concentrating on bettering yourself and you may meet someone more interesting.
