I find it infuriating that a convicted first-degree murderer is being rewarded in this manner. Evidently the only thing he has to pay for is his Pimp Daddy clothes. My reward for doing things right, as someone who didn't have mommy & daddy put me through college, was that I had to work full time to cover room & board, and I have a decade of student loan payments to look forward to.

Should Society be responsible for doing this? Will he even appreciate it, and does he have any respect or consideration for those that support him at the expense of their own families?

I feel we need to stop apologizing to criminals and holding their hands. This is yet another example of common sense being thrown out the window by our government and courts. Similar to the boarder patrol agents getting a prison sentence for shooting a drug smuggler in the butt. I am upset that they gave the drug smuggler a green card and a get out of jail free card to testify.
In many states if a criminal gets hurt while stealing from your house they can sue you. That is insane!
We need to have laws that are based on common sense as well as legal precedent.

It is sad when there are people who work hard and can't quite make the ends meet and there is no help avaliable for them. I didn't get to finish school because I couldn't afford to keep going. I put myself thru the first 3 years, and paid for it all MYSELF. As well as my apartment and car, and other expenses. I had no federal funding. I did have a scholarship my first year, but it was only a 1 year scholarship, and only covered tuition not books. I have no problem with these programs for people that really need the help and the circumstances are beyond thier control. (like the foster kids mentioned in the article) If this man has shown or given proof that he deserves help i.e. he is trying showing that he is working hard to be a better person and to improve his situation is one thing. But to just hand him everything on a silver platter is wrong.

what a shame that the tax payers in Michigan have to pay for this stuff...tuition,rent,and even food stamps..and it is sad when someone is doing things the way you are, paying their own way and such and no he probably has no feelings for what he did or how that family is suffering because of his actions....and whoever is footing the clothing bill made sure he looked nice leaving the jail, although I'm not a fan of the pink shoes..he's an aspiring rap star, well i feel bad for the people of bay city who will have him for a neighbor

If there became a GTA SA memories for the recent technology consoles, it would want to be a huge hit, yet I doubt they're going to. the in reality cities that the GTA series takes position in are Miami(Vice city), la(San Andreas), and massive apple city(Liberty city). they opt for a clean position of calling. i'd ought to assert that would want to properly be both Philadelphia, Detroit, or New Orleans.

Uhh huhh...detroit does anyone need to explain anything more??

you have one political side wanting to prove their rehabilitation schemes work, so they are throwing $$ at the guy, and then you have the other side wanting to prove good on their social programs benefiting the rehabilitation scenario, so they are throwing $$ at the guy.
