At last. Someone who can see the truth behind the propaganda. I think this has everything with the Iranians selling their oil in Euros. That is what hurts the US. This was the reason for the Iraq war also... that nasty Saddam was allowed to gas whoever he liked but his major crimes was ensuring his oil was paid for in Euros.
For those ignorant enough not to believe this I will briefly explain why this hurts the US. Basically the only country that can print dollars is the US. They print them for next to nothing. Now if oil is sold in dollars then everyone needs dollars to buy oil. How do they get those dollars? By trading with the US: As the US prints these dollars for next to nothing, which are then used to import foreign goods (so that foreign countries can get dollars to buy oil) they effectively get something for nothing. This is the reason that the US can run such a huge (48%) trade deficit.
Now when countries start selling that oil in Euros and notdollars then the demand for the dollar falls and the demand for the Euro increases. This leaves the US with an excess of dollars and a lesser ability to trade with other countries (importing goods for next to nothing). Not only that - the Euro is worth $1.3 which means that €100 worth of oil costs the US $130. Not long after the number of dollars in circulation will have to be cut to avoid recession.
I don't fall for this bull US propaganda. I prefer to read things on my own instead of having the lies spoon fed to me by some President from another country who is working in the interests of big business rather than the people who elected him.

"the CIA has said iran will not have capabilites to make nuclear weapons for 10 years and even if they did have these capabilities (which they dont) and they attacked they would be wiped off the map in seconds its not an option for them in any way ."
I'd be curious as to where you got that information.
The president of Iran is about as crazy as our President. And about as liked too, I think he will lose his next election and the media will have to try and paint the new leader of Iran as the devil.
I don't fall for the propaganda, the news has never definitively said that Iran has weapons, or is building them, or is funding the insurgency. It's all speculation. The problem is this is spoon fed to everyone every day so they start believing it's true.

Family groups, Republican Party, organized religion, they're all the same in this respect; fear sells, peace and harmony doesn't, so the better you are at convincing the faithful that someone is threatening your way of life, the more money they're likely to cough up. The Right craves an enemy, so where one does not already exist, they will create one by poking someone in the eye. Followed by the "poor victim/martyr" routine when the person they just assaulted has the nerve to fight back.

I save in recommendations back even as the conflict hostile to Iraq began. I were given in an challenge with a conservative who claimed that Iraq had WMD's. He stubbornly refused to admit any chance the "intelligence" might want to be incorrect; I stated it became a hoax and a lie, understanding this from day one. I also instructed him that when we invaded there might want to in no way be any WMD's found. properly, whadda ya understand, 8 years later, and nonetheless no WMD's found. precisely as I stated might want to ensue from the starting up. i ask your self if the conservatives who believed this the first time have discovered some thing yet. i ask your self how the verbal substitute might want to bypass if I were ever to fulfill him back? i ask your self if he might want to declare that Iran quite does have WMD"s this time round, even with the reality that it became complete bull$hit very last time he stated the very similar ingredient about a distinct u . s . a .? regrettably, i imagine he does no longer have discovered a darn ingredient. i imagine he might want to nonetheless insist that we favor to invade Iran because they supposedly have WMD's. This one conservative i'm concerning is a authentic man or woman, yet he quite represents each and each conservative in the U. S., and the different conservative who believes those lies about WMD's in Iran is both brainwashed. i think none of them have discovered a darn ingredient and all of them will declare we favor to invade Iran. in the great, obviously, no WMD's will ever be present day in Iran, obviously. and that i'd be ideal. back. and they are going to be incorrect. back.

No I do not believe the crapola, why should I ? As an American Indian I would never take the wrod of the Government, the same government who made and broke 535 treaties, which were ratified by congress! As Viet Nam vet, currently working ( without pay) as an advocate for vets in dealing with the very slow and more often than not incompitent VA, I know better! As a disabled Vet, I learned neer trust in their promises nor word.

and i would hope airlines, and cruise ships would definitely scrutinize anyone the xray machines catch with a portable device in their pants, or sweating profusely loosing alot of hair!
but hey..fear sells, and you would sell it to, if the bushies wouldn't jail you for being a terrorist, for interfering with their fear sales!
Personally, the more we badger the Iranians, the more we are making the people dependant on tehir government, and unwilling to do somehting about it.
The more Bushies beam, by sattilite, transmissions to iran that promote government rebellion, and other acts of treason, i think the less likely, we are to see anythign positive come from their government.

Part of our obligation as citizens is to take information and process it, and draw our own conclusions about propaganda. Misinformation is always a problem, always will be, but we owe it to ourselves to at least search for the truth. As far as being "right" or "left", that's just a diversion from the question.

It doesnt take a Nuclear missile to detonate a Nuclear device.
Iran is very capable of producing a variety of Man-Portable devices now. I guess your one of the ones that will cry conspiracy when one goes off in the middle east or on our own soil.
People like you should go the way of the dodo
