I called the auto repair shop and told them what recently happend with the brakes in my car and he said its most likely the brake line about how much do u think this will cost to fix? Its a 96 jeep grand cherokee

It's around $100 or more, service shops charge around $53hr but you should check around in your area for prices.

It's possible that it is just a brake line, but with my experience... you can never replace just one. If the repair shop starts to replace one, it can put a lot of pressure onto another (weaker) line and that one may blow too! The only way to know for sure is to get it checked out!

Call the repair shop, make an appointment, and get a quote on how much it would cost to do an estimate (only)... I would go from there!

chances our your car is like mine just (1) rusty line under the car and its leaking, have your friend push on the brakes alot while you look underneath , park the car on a driveway. make sure the brake fluid is full, if theres a leak your find it, if there no leak you need shoes, brake shoes are $20 bucks for the front & 25 bucks for the back , labor ? now the brake line repair is cheap as long as its just a section. take it to the corner shop , get two estiments. do your homework!

ok its not going to cost u as much as tese da's said it will cost u about 15-30 bucks if its just a brake LINE.
