What is with them putting slow people on the show? Its getting to be a little out of control. And what with with the one girl doing her best impression of the Lion from the Wizard of Oz? What a weirdo!

I think they put them on their to either make the good ones look really good - and stand out, or to make the general public feel better about themselves. There's nothing like getting confirmation that you are actually better/more sane/prettier/smarter than someone else. It's just good to know that you're not dead last on the list of world idiots. Am. Idol has seized on this all the way to the bank.

I thought there were some people with learning disabilities on there. They couldn't possibly think they were normal. It was hilarious when the girl did her impression of the Lion from Wizard of Oz. What did you think when Simon told that guy he looked like an animal with the big eyes? That was so mean! lol He can't change the way he looks. I like this part of AI, I just don't care for it when they really get into the singing.

I think that the majority of people who audition do so to have the chance to be on TV (the girl who sang like the Cowardly Lion), or becuase the honestly believe they really can sing. I think a lot of people's parent lie to their children about their abilities. Look at all those parents telling their kid "They'll be famous somehow!" or "Why do they think you can't sing?"
Sure, there are some people who are obviously slow, but the judges seem to be nice to them telling them that this competition isn't right for them, they seem like such a nice kid, blah, blah, blah. But I think those people are the minority. The rest just want to be in a freakshow.

Yes, these people are weird but what if we got up on the stage with our talents? What could we do to preform for Simeon that would not rate his wrath?
I guess I am like most people. We really want to see them crash and burn because it satisfys some sick need in us. Like watching an accident scene.

i know what you mean. I think that thats how they get their ratings so they let the crazy ppl in too!! Its funny, i cant help but laugh. my stomach was hurting at the end when they sang Dont chu wish your girlfriend was hot like me. I swear i was like what planet are these people from. maybe we are the weirdos, lol

I am sick and tired watching American Idol, because every one I know, bought himself or herself a microphone and wants to become a singer (even my grandma started to sing driving us all crazy in the process), enough is enough don't you think!

Oh I loved the girl who sang " I like big butts" and then proceeded to shake her big butt. She was also the girl wearing pink netting on her body and Simon thought she had a sun burn.
