Wolverine. The Hulk is just plain hard to hurt, easy to make angry, but hard to hurt

Let's see, Wolverine would have to sever the Hulks spinal cord somewhere in the neck, paralyzing the Hulk.. This would give Wolverine time to cut the Hulk's head off. Wolverine could keep slashing at the spinal cord to give himself more time. I don't think the Hulk could survive with his head cut off. This is well within Wolverine's capabilities. Edit @ Peter The question was, "how would Wolverine win?" ,not, "would Wolverine win?". Wolverine has gotten close enough, in the past, to use his claws. Yes, you see that in their fight in Hulk #181 and all their other battles. This is not beyond what Wolverine is capable of. They just never showed Wolverine doing something like this. Personally, I think the Hulk would catch Wolverine by a leg and throw him into space, but that would not answer the question. Edit @Peter. Sorry if I came back a little strong. It seems too many people just ignored the question and took the position that Wolverine could not win.

wolverine does without a doubt in a recent issue he tried to get to a mutant named nitro who can create intense explosions wolverine was at ground zero of one of these blasts and he was burned down to his adamantium skeleton and you could only see his eyes nitro was bragging that he killed wolverine and within a few minutes his body totally regenerated himself, the hulk has a strong healing factor but no where near the level of wolverine's

Here’s how we can find out: cut a limb off each of them (cut the tendons and cartilage at Wolverine/s elbow, so you’re not trying to cut through the adamantium) and EXCHANGE LIMBS. Press the severed limb to the stump of the arm

Which one of them rejects the alien tissues and has to grow a new arm, and which one of them absorbs the alien tissues and incorporates the new tissues—AND THE NEW POWERS-- into his repertoire…? The one who GETS BETTER THAN BEFORE due to this is the one that has the better healing/ regeneration power.

(Of course, neither of them has as good powers of regeneration as DC’s Lobo. Every time a drop of his blood was spilled, it regenerated into a whole new Lobo…!)
