From Ramayana "varni na jaye nisachar maya." here varni means description of something.
In Utter Pradesh the word "varni" is used for a girl - who is getting married (that is a bride).

If you could use this in a setence it would be easier to answer. Right now, there is no such word in the dictionary. It could be the abb. for the word varnish.
