First you need to figure out what your motivation will be. I mean you say you need to lose 30lbs but why is this so important to you. You need motivation to help get you to exercise. I took a fitness test and realized how unfit I really am, so my motivation has been to improve my test scores and the weight loss will come with it. Since starting college I've gotten lazy too and I work during the day and have class at night. So the best time for me to workout is in the morning, because I'm too tired at night to do anything. I would try walking first on the treadmill. Right now, depending on how I feel, I either walk for 20 minutes at a good pace or I walk mile at a good pace. I started off at a slow speed and increased to a faster one, but I'm not running yet. I usually watch a funny movie or listen to some good rock music. It helps me not focus so much on my body, because sometimes at the slightest hint of pain you want to give up but you shouldn't. It helps me keep my focus on something other than the little pain here and there.good luck!!!

Doing an effective whole body conditioning and weight loss workout can be done entirely at home without any fancy equipment. A couple of dumbbells is all you will need. (Even if you don't have dumbbells there is usually something lying around the house that is heavy enough to substitute in for them). Here is a list of 20 exercises you can do right in your own home for a great whole body conditioning and fat loss workout. Exercises: Group 1: Bodyweight Squats Bulgarian Split Squats Y-Squats Prisoner Squat Reverse Lunge Step Ups One Leg "Get Ups" Group 2: Push Ups Push Up and Point Mountain Climbers Decline Push Ups Push Ups/Stick Ups Step Up and Press Squat and Press Group 3: Plank Side Plank Curl and Press One Arm Rows Bird Dogs One Leg Deadlifts Pick one exercise from each group and do them all back to back for a mini circuit of 3 exercises. Do each exercise for a timed interval of 10 seconds for a total of 30 seconds per mini circuit. As you get better at them work up to doing each exercise for 20 seconds for a total of 60 seconds per mini circuit. Take 30-60 seconds rest between mini circuits. For beginners do a total of 3 mini circuits to start. Working up to 4 or 5 as you get better at them. Once you're ready to move to the next level add a second mini circuit by choose 3 different exercises (one from each grouping). Do your second mini circuit with the same time of work to rest ratio as your fist. If you feel you are already at an advanced level you can add one or two more mini circuits up to a total of 4 mini circuits. These 20 exercises are just an example of what is possible, there are dozens more that would work in this mini circuit style, you can incorporate any exercise that you like into these mini circuits. This style of workout is a great complete whole body conditioning and fat loss program you can do right at home in under 45 minutes.

You need a reality check. Motivation and diet are keys to losing weight.
Start out slow. Don't think you are a marathon runner. Try walking on the treadmill instead of running. Put the treadmill in front of your TV and walk while watching American Idol. Eventually, your body will be used to the regular exercise and will want to keep going. You will then want to walk/jog on your treadmill. Remember to watch what you eat. This will help in shedding those pounds faster. Also you might want to see if a friend or a family member wants to walk or jog with you. It helps.

you wont lose weight unless you workout i have to drag myself up to do it sometimes but its over in 30 minutes and then you have the rest of the day to do whatever you want.Do it early in the morning and don't think about it just do it.If you get tired easy work your way up to a longer period of time it will get easier....not trying to be mean but lazy will get you no where but fat and miserable with yourself
