yuor selpling is fnie.

You could still read that couldn't you?.

It is a fact that as long as the word written has the same 1st and last letter the human eye can depict what it says.

There was hardly one mistake in you question so don't let anyone bother you!!!!

If you are happy with your communication abilities then that's fine. You can get what you want done.
I would suggest that the one time I can see when it might matter is on your CV. People can choose not to interview or employ you because your spelling shows a lack of attention to detail (not because you can't spell, that could be classed as discrimination).

If you use spell check where it matters and don;t where it doesn't I'd say it shouldn't matter. Either way if you're leading life your way then who else has any right to say if it matters?

Spelling is very important because if you change the letters it changes the meaning of the word. For instance if you say "how is my smelling" It means something different to "how is my spelling". Spelling is going downhill nowadays thanks to text messaging and street talk. Also if you're searching for something in a library or online and you mis-spell it you are unlikely to get the best search results. If you have a job which involves writing reports or typing anything then spelling is also very important. I agree that it is not important if you work in a coffee shop or in a factory but these jobs will not pay very well.

If you're're already circumcised, don't worry about it. The good thing is your penis is easier to clean and easier to put a condom onto. The bad thing is that it's not usually as sensitive as an uncircumcised one. Most men who are circumcised had it done just after birth, so they're not aware of what they're missing, and they don't miss it. If you are not circumcised, then you're lucky to have that extra sensitivity. Some girls might get a little freaked out the first time they see an uncircumcised penis, but they get used to it. It's not really that hard to clean and if you practice good hygiene and safe sex, you're not any more susceptible to infections.

In a relaxed setting like yahoo answers, I do not think it matters much, but it matters to me personally. I can spell correctly, so I do, even if it takes me a couple of seconds longer than using an abbreviation.

It doesnt bother me about the spelling as some people have obviously hit the wrong key... I just find it hard to read some questions because it is written in 'phone text' style or just bad grammer... but i just move on to the next question as i dont give a shite. ;-)

Yes. Poor spelling makes you dead meat for school applications or in preparing a CV for starters.

It's one of the most important and basic skills you need to have. It will set you apart from every punk and lowlife. People will tend to regard you as credible if you can spell, but if you can't spell, then who will?
