i am in melbourne, australia. I am from India. Here i find people who are more outgoing and bold are considered good in nature and as nice people. What if people are a bit reserved(not about me) or timid.. are they not considered as good and friendly individuals.

They may still be a good person, but will not be seen as friendly or good natured...

Well certain society or communities are more open and outgoing and if it so happens that some are not as outgoing as them, then perhaps there is a likelihood that the majority(outgoing ones) may look at the minority differently. We can't change one's personality but one can strive to smile more or be less reserved, in order to work well with the majority.

However, he/she should not be blamed or treated differently just because he/she is less vocal or less outgoing.

One's character should not be judged on whether he/she is outgoing or reserved. The former may get more attention due to their personality and may get recognized more easily then the latter but at the end of the day, it's his/her intentions and actions on others that count. The more good one does, the better is his/her standing in the society.

But again, judgement of character can be biased. It's life I guess.

I am an INtrovert and considered a VERY GOOD person ... Whether I am considered a good person on HERE is the least of my concerns !

I simply do not go out and party, go visiting daily, nor announce myself when entering a room to get attention. I simply do not want any attention. Does that make me less of a good person ? I don't think so and all the good deeds I do for many MANY people should prove that.

Thanks for asking that GOOD question !!

: )

Happy Friday !!

Some people view reserved and timid people as aloof. While people that are outgoing tend to be more popular, I prefer more reserved friends because they tend to be more genuine.

It's a cross-cultural thing. Introverts are perceived as secretive people who don't really like other people that much which contains some truth actually. I'm introverted adn sometimes i feel this way.
