What are the latest walkman Ericsson phones like? I'm considering buying one later this year and would like feedback on their reliability and ease of use. I have a Sony Ericsson 610 and it would sometimes lock up on me, which wasn't very good, any issues like that? Can you listen to the music through a bluetooth headset?

I've got a W800i. Great camera, MP3 and it rings too!
Never let me down (touch wood) and I've dropped it a few times and messed with it a lot too. Can't help with the headset question. The headphones that come with the W800 work fine for me though.
I've even downloaded a full length film onto it the other day, just to see if it worked -which it did.
Before that I had a T39mc, T68i, T610, T630.. Can you see a trend developing..
I'd have the K800i when my contract's up but for the slightly bulky camera cover. If they come out with something similar without such a big cover, particularly a thin clamshell/flip, I'd have that like a shot.
I've seen the 850 but again think that's a bit bulky.
Another option would be to go for one that works with sat nav, though I haven't seen a SE that does yet.

Ericsson phones in general are very reliable. You have a few general issues regardgin wear and tear especially the joystick on models like the K750 or K800 (which i own). Sony sell a great bluueooth headset which has in ear headphones and a track display although they're a tad pricey. I have always used Ericssons as I have worked in the mobile industry for 3 years and know they are reliable. Please please stay away from new Nokia 3g handsets - the software is awful, they are slow, battery life is poor and the new mini pin chargers always always break (trust me I've argues with enough customers to know this lol) Ericsson usually release new handsets towards the summer (july mainly) so if you are patient wait until then, if not the W850i is great, has Track ID, great headphones, stereo bluetooth and is bundles with a 1gb memory card. Enjoy

I have the 810i and I LOVE it (and it has FM radio which is a cool option). Of those choices though, I'd probably pick the W880i. It won awards for Best Music Phone Buy, Gadget of the Day, Hot Buy, & Best Style from various organizations. Plus it is the best looking IMHO, camera is okay (same as the others). The 660 is pretty good and probably my second choice. I like the "candybar" design better than the sliders for a lot of reasons, which is why the 910 and the 580 are at the bottom of my list. The 910 has a lot of memory though, which is a plus for a media phone of any sort.

Don't know about the music thru the bluetooth but we have just bought two SE phones - W300i & Z530i and the both seem fine! The radio on hers is crystal clear, the Walkman itself is excellent quality as is mine!

On the whole - quite good phones - easy software to use!

i have the w550i and i havnt had any problems with it, it has 256mb internal memory, great for storing music, and the speakers are louder than any of the phones my brothers have. its great for playing games too. if you need a bigger memory u can go for the w850i which has 1gb. check them out. (",)

Don't buy the w300i from t-mobile. You get a load of Robbie Williams sh!t on it you can't delete.
