Co-workers may have issues, but I'll be damned if it resorts to violence--the fight and subsequent choking of Patrick Dempsey. And this was not the first time Isiah Washington (Burke) publicly called TR (George) a f*a*g*. The last time, it was in front of a room full of reporters after the Golden Globe Awards.
Hollywood is full of people who do and say stupid things publicly. Then when they're called on it, they issue a statement saying how sorry they are and they need help. Anger management classes, or a meeting w/the gay and lesbian community or the Jewish community or the Black community. . .
There's now a fan movement to fire Isiah. I don't think they should do that. Give him the anger management classes and have him meet w/the G&L members. Maybe write a dream-scene where Burke comes out and has a sexy scene w/a gay guy.
That'll learn him. :o)

Then watch the show, why do care about the background issues? I mean is it going to stop you from watching, your question just sounds really petty as if your bored or something. All co-workers have issues these people are celebrities so you will hear about there issues on the news. That is life. You don't want to hear or see it don't pick the gossip papers, don't watch the e channel, and stay away from mtv, vh1, and the style network , entertainment tonight, and access hollywood.

I think that when people are in an ensemble cast they should consider that the show could be impacted by their behavior. Last night when I was watching the "touching" conversation between Burke and George I kept thinking about how angry they are with each other in real life. Of course they're all just acting, but it's part of the enjoyment to forget that during the show. They've all been so vocal about their personal feelings that it's hard to put that aside and just enjoy their performances.

MONK Burn Notice House I'm disgusted that "Wrestling", Jerry Springer, American Idol and all the stupid reality shows seem to be gaining popularity while no one is watching The Science Channel, The Discovery Channel or The History Channel. It doesn't look good for our society that "trash tv" is so popular.

From what I've been noticing lately, there is a new trend in the media. People think they can say what they want, where they want and to whomever they want. Then when someone gets bent out of shape about what was said, the person who said it apologizes and thinks that will take care of the bad feelings that were created. Some people need to learn to think before they speak, especially those in the media.

Everyone makes a comment at one point or another about "gay" issues. It's now a part of life.

Gay people are everywhere and are a part of real life. I'm sure you have a gay cousin, aunt, or uncle somewhere in your family. So why should they be hidden on TV?

I much prefer hearing about the reality going on behind the cameras than the contrived fiction presented during prime time.
