I have done an experiment on this type of thing to show to my kids and their friends. I have found people on here who show their own pictures or pictures of their kids. I have looked into their questions and their answers and found, through what they think is idle chit chat, what cities they live in, their ages, what schools they go to, their names and in one case what date and time she was walking to her school (which I also had the name of) with her friends. People do NOT put your kids in danger. I just read (and reported) a posting on here the other day that was talking about how he got his "kiddie victims".

It probably doesn't hurt anything. But, I agree with you. I don't much care for it and I wouldn't put my family on in place of my avatar.

Well, I was once in love with this lady.. however she broke my middle in entrance of hundreds of humans. So, in retaliation, I selected her image and I am asking dull questions and giving lame solutions to embarrass her. Muahaha. Not relatively, regardless that. It's simply me :). But I like your avatar. I love overweight kittehs

I agree. I have feared for the safety of my dog a couple of times. I know there is an evil person out there trying to figure out how to steal her from me. I have had her pawprinted and I have her DNA and I watch her like a hawk!
Seriously, I agree.

I agree with anything you say. You can bench press a gorilla. Not a good idea to mess with wonder women.

I think it's kind of creepy when people put their families and babies as their picture. First of all, no need to display that in this kind of forum. Second, who the heck cares about your kid? But my least favorite picture here is the chick with the bikini clad torso, it creeps me right out.
