The red towels were Christmas towels which were a gift and had never been washed. The colors ran into everything else. I have rewashed the other towels to get the color out. I tried a little bleach. Nothing has helped. Everything has a pink tint.

I agree with Sunny.

It may take a couple of washes though depending on whether you put the "pink" towels in the dryer. Sometimes that sets the colour.

What about that new product, the sheet thing. I think it's made by shout. It's supposed to be a color grabber? I'd try that! Who knows.

Keep washing the stuff with the pink tint, and don't dry them until you are happy with how much came out.

Next time, SEPERATE!!

WalMart sells a product by the spray starches and fabric softeners, it colors the fabric, such as Red, Blue, Green. They also have one that makes Whites white again! It works great on socks, towels, anything you want bright white again. It's about $3.00 a box and will do 2 loads of laundry. It is safer than bleaching. I think the brand is Rid.
Good luck!

Try soaking them in OxyClean...The red towels are ruined...there is no turning them back to their original color...the white ones might clear up a bit...in any case, I hope you like pink...
Just learn from your experience...NEVER mix whites with colors...

I've never separated my laundry, even after buying dark red sheets. Occasionally my whites turn pink with my sheets (socks and t-shirts) but I don't really care.
If you don't mind pink stuff for a bit just use them normally, after one or two washes the pink will fade.

The stains will come out of the white ones after a couple of washes with hot water.
