Gene Simmons:

If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race you’re a male chauvinist pig.

If you stay at home and do the housework, you’re a pansy.

If you work too hard, there never is time for her. If you don’t work enough, you’re a good for nothing bum.

If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay, it’s exploitation. If you have a boring repetitive job with low pay, you should get off your rear and find something better.

If you get a promotion ahead of her, it’s favoritism. If she gets a job ahead of you, it’s equal opportunity.

If you mention how nice she looks, it’s sexual harassment. If you keep quiet its male indifference.

If you cry, you’re a wimp. If you don’t, you’re insensitive.

If you make a decision without consulting her, you’re a chauvinist. If she makes a decision without consulting you, she’s a liberated woman.

If you ask her to do something she doesn’t enjoy, that’s domination. If she asks you, it’s a favor.

Well, unfortunately, I do think he has some valid points. Like all generalizations, not all of them are true, or they are not true every time, but guys do face these mixed signals from society, the media and indivdual women.

Now, what this has to do with this forum, I don't know, unless Gene Simmons is really gay, in which case, that tongue of his has some uses the fans probably hadn't considered.

I met Gene Simmons once at a bar in LA. We were talking for a short time when he saw a blond girl sitting at the bar. He point at her, said "I want you" and walked away from me to go talk to her. Didn't even give me a "good-bye." Oh well, I guess Gene just loves his women!

And? I assume you are trying to make a Point?
While his words may not be something I agree with at all, he spoke without using harsh language or inferred malice.
I may not agree with what he said, but many could take lessons from him on how to express themselves.

BTW your post was NOT a question.

Gene Simmons really doesn't care for women much at all, not unlike most rappers.
If you have listened to any of his interviews, he really has no respect for women. Their just something to do.

I think this shows much deeper psychological issues in these men.

How is this a gay question?

I could see if it was Richard Simmons.
