Because it means your attractive, a rebel, grown-up, cool, blah blah. Im a teenager and i don't think that, but i know why other people do. But in my school its kinda cool to be the non-trashy person.
Oh, and just because guys give reasons to girls to get laid. And its cool for a guy to get laid. You know what i mean.

It's all about seeming to be "older" and more adult than you really are. Who are the "cool" kids? those who set the standard for how far you can go. Those who smoke, those who drive a car, those who own their own car, those who have the hot boyfriend/girlfriend. In essence, bragging rights trump everything else. It seems silly to me. Seemed silly even when I was a teenager. That doesn't mean that I didn't try to accomplish some of those things mentioned above
It all boils down to peer pressure and belonging to a crowd. Sticking out is a good way to get hammered down. And getting hammered down is never fun. Painful is more the case. And there is enough pain in beeing a teen to not want what everyone else wants.

SEX is so much more than just the physical act of intercourse.
teenagers are just not mature enough to handle all the emotional feelings that go with having a sexual relationship. God tells us that when we marry we are no longer 2 but become as one flesh.

In 1 Cor. 7 we are told to marry, if we cannot resist the temptation.
Sex outside of marriage is called a sin by God in Gal. 5:19-23, Romans 1:22-32
In 2Peter 1:5-9 We are told how to add to our FAITH.

because teenage boys only think about sex, and teenage girls want to please them, to get the best looking boyfriend, and to do this, they have sex with them. which just makes the guys think the girls are dirty tarts. and from that point on, they pretend to like the girls so that they can have sex with them.

well to me it's not about looking cool.
it makes you feel good, it's healthy, it's excercise, and most of all it's just really fun to do, and i enjoy doing it.
