use quickbooks or microsofts new product. You can downloadn microsoft's product for free. You may have to purchase an add on (depending on how small and what type of business you are) but it isn't that expensive and you can pick and choose which to add. Do a google search for the software. It's not their old small business suite...brand new release and completely separate. It's their attempt to compete with quicken.

Both products are good.

It depends.

Do you have a payroll? What type of business are you? How are you registered?

If you are a self employed sole proprietor with no employees, Quickbooks should be more then adequate for your purposes. It provides a general ledger, a basic balance sheet structure, and allows for easy a/p and a/r functions.
