I have troed to delete my history folder from internet options then clear history button. It wont work, and the url is still stored on my address bar. Please advise what can I do, thank you.

Hi again, thank you for all who have replied, i am very concern with this issue. can someone explain to me how someone can spy on me with the softwares that allow people to spy on where i have been or what i have done? Please guide me or email me. Thank you.

I have download ccleaner many thanks, it worked! But can someone still spy on me from now on? what can I do to prevent this happening? Would they be able to have access to my passwords? and my favourites? Thx.

Download free program ccleaner from
www.ccleaner.com. .
It removes History and many other files not needed.
You can select what you want to remove.

If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools menu, Internet Options, General tab, History section (last section on tab), and click the Clear History button. Answer Yes to the popup question 'Are you sure you want Windows to delete your history of visited web sites?' After that, close your browser window. When you start it back up, it should be clear.
You may want to clear your cache of temporary internet files (incluidng offline content) while you are at it. This is also located on the General tab of Internet Options.

regarding you last comment, you do need a good firewall. Try Zone Alarm or Comodo - free!
Also, make sure you have a good anti-virus in the shape of AVG or Avast - also both free to download, and anti-spyware such as Ad-aware SE Personal edition and Spybot Search & Destroy - yup, free again

You may have software preventing you from having your history deleted so that others can look at where you have been and what you have been doing

you are partially right,click tools,browser options and it opens a box at the bottom is called history click url's and follow prompt and the same for search history.

you need to clear, temp Internet files, clear cashe, clear history, you need to turn of auto complete to delete pages that you sign in to, IE yahoo, download ccleaner from download.com
