A ban from smoking in your own home? lolololol nah, We live in the free world.

Out of respect, the smoker should smoke outside, but we all know that will never happen. A buddy of mind and his wife are heavy smokers. I walk into their house and the air is soooo thick and heavy, sadly they don't notice it. Their walls and ceiling are yellow! Stained with smoke.. it looks so bad. By time I leave I smell sooo bad, even if I'm in there for only a few minutes...

A LAW, no. What husband and wife do in the privacy of their own home, their own yard, their own car is not anyone's business unless it involves a felony.
If hubby or wife does not care for the other's smoking habits, then they must work it out between them.
In our house, the smoker went outside to smoke until stopping altogether.

No it is bad enough that these liberal states including my lovely state NJ created all of these smoking bans. What good is it to regulate the private sector. Does the government own these establishments? Nope! So why is it that they can tell them how to run their businesses? Because of the employees that doesn't like smoke or because of the customers? Well they arent being chained in there saying breath second hand smoke and dieeee. They can choose their venues or their places of employment by themselves. Whats next the government telling you what you can and cant serve? OH WAIT! They already are. This my friends is what is called Socialism. If you like having the goverment basically take a part in every aspect of your life then thats you. But personally I like the government out of the majority of my life. You know go hiking with out some stupid permit, heck I feel with the democrats taking over everything, I am going to have to get a bathroom pass to everytime i have to go by the military police outside my door.

I agree with you that there should be law like this.. My husband smokes.. He only smokes in the garage but that still bothers me cause he still smells like smoke.
But the law I think that should be greater is smoking around kids.. In houses and in cars.. I work at a carryout and I see so many people smoking around babies and other small children.. This kids don't get a choice and have to be around it. Why not make something to protect them too?!

No way. People should bloody well be allowed to smoke in their own homes. You married a smoker (you were probably one yourself back then), so deal with it, and accept your spouse's right to live her/his own life.

Of course not. Do you really want the government inside your home more than it is now?

No. However there should have been a law regulating screwing.
That law should have been enforced before you were conceived.
