Well its fine to me! Sometimes its nice to see all the different colours of the cabs. I heard as well that the advertising company pay the individual driver with the product they are advertising... I'm not sure if that is true though.

What do they not want to do to get your money? I do not know what's the effect it has on people...but if they depend on me and the same kind of people who do not care to get influenced and get carried away by those adverts ...then the advertisers have to think twice before any adverts placed anywhere...
I cannot say whether it is a good or bad idea, but if the advert does not catch then it's a total waste...it may catch a look but the rest is different...the advertisers want people to queue up and spend ... I am not easily distracted by an advert placed on black cabs ( now they come in all colours too!) nor on any other supports like bil boards etc .. I think if people are distracted and annoyed by these, then the intention is definitely not reached. It's a total waste when the money could have been spent in a more useful, commendable way to say the least.

I think it's a good idea but they do seem to go overboard sometimes. I still expect a black cab to be predominantly black rather than having an advert all over the cab.

Great idea - what could be bad about them? The taxi company gets money, the client gets to advertise and we get something to stare at.

I personally think they are distracting.
I think that cabs should all be the same, plain black.
It would certainly help tourists to pick them out better.
