This guy got in touch with me on the net and we became sort of good friends for nearly 2 yrs. He is married and so am i. All was going well, we used to meet aft work, he used to drop me home at times. It was a platonic relationship. His wife, unaware of my existence, hacked his chat id and on reading the archive messages, that had piled up for months, coulnt take the fact. My friend has promised his wife to break all communication with me now. I am heart-broken after loosing him...he was a cool friend!

As heart breaking as it is for you, he should have not hidden the friendship from his wife. There must have been a reason he did that. Was your husband aware of all that was going on? I would assume so if your friend dropped you off at home. The man should have been honest with his wife, but since he wasn't he put himself into a situation that he really couldn't get out of. Maybe in time things will change, maybe the four of you could become friends. Why was this something that was just between you and him? Why were spouses not included in this friendship? It seems kind of suspicious(not saying you were doing anything wrong) and if I were his wife I would be very upset as well. All you can do is just wait it out. If things turn around for the better, great! If they don't, you have to accept his choice to save his marriage. He really screwed up!

Move on! It is not cool to have a man sneak around behind his wife's back with you. You should leave married men alone. If it was simply a friendship, then he wouldn't have had to hide it. Nothing good can come from sneaking around with people, cheating, or lying. What did you expect to happen?

Stop all contact with him. It's causing problems in his marriage. Don't associate yourself with that.
