Well, i have tried the beta version... it depends on what you are going to use it for, if you just use it for basic use then you might as well save space and use the old one... depends... if you like up to date things like me, then might be advisable to...

Not really. Microsoft Office is one of those things where if it comes with your computer or something then cool, but its not worth going out and spending the money when you have a perfectly functioning Office suite right now.

If you have to ask, the answer is no.
If Office 2007 has some feature that you need, that's one thing, but if not, save your money and stick with whatever version you have. Better yet, convert to OpenOffice - it's new version, just like all its previous versions and all its future versions, is free.

You do not want it yet!
The file format that is saves files in is now XML by default, not the old .doc format. XML will be incompatible with other versions of office if you want to share files. You will have to do a Save As and change the format.
I would suggest either using what you have and save the money. Its not a cheap upgrade! The other option is if you want current software is to look at openoffice.org.

If you want it, then yes it is. If you don't want it, then it isn't worth it. Unfortunately my mind reading abilities are pretty poor, so I can't tell if you want it or not.
