Seeing my doctor on Monday. I got my xray result too late to see him today. What should I be doing, if anything? I'm just limping around at the moment like an old duck...quack quack!

Wrap your foot in an ace bandage for extra support and try to avoid putting your full weight on it...In other words stay off your feet if possible. Also Ice will help with pain and swelling as will ibuprophen or another nsaid. These drugs help reduce inflammation as well relieve pain.

I have been in Angels Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Petco Park and whatever the name is of that sauna in Miami in Red Sox gear. Everyone treats you with respect/ignores you, except the Yankee fans. There is just too much history there. It makes it fun. As for your experience, I could never understand why a Yankee fan would show up at Fenway for a Red Sox--Tigers game in Yankee gear. Wear Tiger gear for Heaven's sake. Of course you are going to be the most loathed person in the park. Actually wearing a Yankee hat in the City of Boston is not the brightest of moves as a general matter.

Stay off of it at all times. No pressure on it at all. Get crutches for when you have to be mobile.

my mom just had surgery to fix a stress fracture in her heel. just get some R&R..

it is not urgent. the ultimate treatment is resting the limb. it depends on your doc how to rest your limb!!
