Yes, defiantly, it means that if you try to deceive someone you have to keep spinning the story to avoid being caught out, but eventually you'll tangle your self up in your own lies.

I think so. If you tell the truth it is easy to remember. You have to have a very good memory to be a liar. Why once when I was skydiving in Peru... or was that Argentina? No, wait it was Mexico.
