If he says he does, does that mean he JUST loves the girl, but he loves AND at the same time wants (sexually) the male?

Thanks for the answers.

Separate your terminology into the types of love you are referring to and ask again.
It is Possible for a Gay Male to "love" a female as a sister and friend , yet feel no sexual attraction But "love" the male as one would a lover or spouse(including sexual interest).
Gay(homosexual) infers sexual attraction toward the same sex only. If they are sexually attracted to both sexes they are Bisexual.

Everyone has the potential to love, however as a gay male, I would say that there are many differnet kinds of love. Ya, I love my family, my friends and my female friends, but not in the same way I love my boyfriend. The emotional connection your friend speaks about is probably just that... Dont you love your friends. I think if you spoke to him more deeply about it, he would reveal that he actually doesnt love love them in the same way one would a partner. I just hope you arent keeping a secret glimmer of hope that one day it might be you (or another girl)... TC xxx

There are different types of 'love'.
I love my family but goodness knows I wouldn't want to sleep with them!
If he's sexually attracted to both, then there's every chance that he could be bisexual.
However, he may love the girl as a close friend or like a sister.
It's all a bit ambiguous!

a gay male can love a female platonically, but is only sexually attracted to other males. if hes sexually attracted to males and females then hes bisexual - not gay.

Obviously you dont understand love. so lets try explaining it this way. There are different types and levels of love.

Do you love your parents? Most likely.
Are you going to want to have sex with them? Probably not.

You can love someone and not have any sexual desire for them. I have female friends I love but Im not attracted to them. Then I have my husband and soulmate. I love him on a completely different level.

No he doesn't. A bisexual man can love males and females, and so does a bisexual woman.

You aren't being fair to the girl if you want to have sex with the man and not her. What about HER needs? You are being selfish.
